On July 3rd, 2011 Cheque Garcia asked me to marry him! He did a wonderful job of surprising me! We are officially ENGAGED and I am the happiest I have ever been in my life :)
Here is the story....
Cheque and I decided to hike the mountain behind the B2B property on our day off! We love hiking together :) In the picture above I am completely unaware of what the next few moments will hold :)
We came across a a really neat spring flowing out of a cliff wall into a pool! It was beautiful! It had just rained for a week so everything was so green. Here Cheque is playing it cool, before the big moment :) He did so well, I never had a clue it was coming! We ended up climbing the cliff where we had a beautiful view of the mountains and valley.
The next thing I know Cheque is telling me how much he loves me... He pulls a ring out of nowhere and asks if I will marry him!!!!! All I could do was cry (as you will note in this photo)! I just sat there completely surprised. Cheque thought that maybe I didn't understand his question (because I couldn't answer) and asked me again in Spanish... I finally pulled myself together and gave him a huge hug and a huge YES!!!!
My ring! This is a God-story too! I love it when God is involved even in the little stuff :)
Happy as can be!
It is official and sometimes hard to believe it is really true!

Cheque further surprised me by pulling a picnic lunch out of his backpack. He had brought our favorite treats! We had cheese, salami, bread... it was great! Cheers to the newly engaged!
I know, this really is the man I am going to marry!!!! Yay! He is a bit excited too, to say the least :)
